Ugh, Glasses..
I get migraines quite a lot and I know it is not normal but I do not want to go to the doctor, pay for a bunch of expensive tests and then have them give me some prescription. Well, I haven’t had pretty bad headaches in a little bit and then Sunday I got a migraine and ended up going to sleep really early. So, since Monday I have had this headache that sometimes will be slightly there and other times will really hurt. Yesterday, I had the headache and it got increasingly worse throughout the day. I started to realize that my eyes were hurting and it felt like i was straining the nerve in the back of my eye.
So, needless to say I pulled out my glasses I haven’t worn in almost 2 years and I’m wearing them today and what do you know, no more headaches. Not to say that is my only issue, but atleast it is curing it for now. Now, I just wish my health insurance covered Eye care because I hate these glasses!

One week of Food Diary
Ok, so it has officially been a week since I started recording everything I eat and drink in My Daily Plate. I’ve realized that I am horrible on the weekends. This past weekend we went out to eat twice and had Quesadillas. It really killed my calorie count. I think one day I was over like 600 calories or something.
So far, I’m at 141.4, which is .8 pounds less than I was last week at this time. But, I honestly don’t think I lost any weight at all because my weight fluctuates between 140 and 142, once I get below 140 than I will believe I’m loosing some of it. I only exercised twice last week because the alarm didn’t wake me up on Friday. This morning I didn’t work out either because I had a massive migraine last night and my head was still sore today. I’m going to workout Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning. I just really need to watch my intake this weekend.

I will lose weight!
So, it’s been awhile but I’m really going to try harder to post more often. Honestly, I think my lack of posting is because I can’t really customize this how I want it because it’s through a free site and it really annoys me. Maybe if I get ambitious enough to post more I’ll see about getting a page somewhere else.
Anyways, I started using Daily Plate today to start tracking what I eat and how much I exercise. I hate the cliche of the New Years Resolution to lose weight and eat better and I’ve never made it before but this year I have. Last summer I went to Europe for a two week vacation and came back 10 lbs heavier. Currently, I’m at my heaviest weight I have ever been at 142. I hate it and I’m very disgusted with myself. So, this morning I started using our elliptical and I hope to at least start using it for 20 minutes three times a week and if I can get in the habit of that than hopefully I can increase to 5 days a week.
Anyways, along with that I obviously need to eat better. That doesn’t mean I’m cutting out fast food and desserts all together because whenever I do that I end up eating even worse than before. But, I’m hoping this Daily Plate website can help me track what I eat so I can see where I need to cut back and when I’m doing really bad. My minimum goal is to lose 10-12 pounds so I can get back to the weight I was at before I went on summer vacation. My ultimate goal is to weigh between 120-125. I guess we will see how it goes.
